Kevin Hennessy is an awesome instructor that really works hard to inspire confidence and treats the newbie with the same respect as the experienced. Can't say enough about the experiences I had there in 2017 for ASA 101 and 2018 for 103 with Kevin. Additionally, the Southport NC setting makes it an awesome vacation with a purpose.

Kevin was a great host, making sure we were comfortable onboard, helping us find great seats at the front of the boat, and even letting us take turns steering the boat to keep it on course. We quickly realized that there's no feeling quite like cruising quietly over the ocean at a nice clip with the wind in your sails.
