Girl Scouts - Eastern Pennsylvania
Camp Wood Haven is the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania overnight camp at the foot of Blue Mountain in Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, close to the Appalachian Trail. Campers entering grades 1 through 12 ride horses, hike, explore the creek, cook outdoors, swim, do STEM and climb the Tree Element high ropes course, climbing wall and bouldering wall. Lodging is distinctive - Birdsong treehouses, Conestoga wagons, platform tents and Adirondack shelters - and seven weeks run from late June to early August in full-week, multi-week and half-week programs. Council bus transport runs on Sundays and Fridays for $55 each way, and older campers can join a Wrangler in Training program at the barn.

From horseback riding to the alpacas to the beloved counselors, this is the best Girl Scout camp in PA! Our only complaint is that the Trading Post doesn't carry sweatshirt blankets like Mosey Wood!!!
