Camp Timberledge (Timberledge Retreat Center) is a Christian camp and retreat facility on about 280 acres of woodland and lakes near Beach Lake, in the Poconos of northeastern Pennsylvania. The property has a lodge, cabins, and platform tents, a stocked 20-acre lake for fishing, and a three-mile trail system, and is available for group retreat rentals. Whether it currently runs an open-enrollment kids' summer camp is not confirmed.

★_Anthony_This camp was very disappointing! The cabins are extremely hot and they only give two fans that did little to nothing. Some of the outlets don’t even work. On the website it shows how there is archery, shooting, and more but the only thing they had was kayaking. Both the bathroom sink and shower water had horrible smells. This camp was no fun. I wouldn’t recommend this camp!!
★★jenna finkI was not pleased with this camp AT ALL. The cabins are extremely hot and are supplied with only two fans. Some of the outlets in the rooms don’t even work! Not to say that this camp was not great back in the day but as of now it is not good and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who is trying to have a fun time at a camp. There are also no fun activities like show on the website. The website shows you archery, shooting, and more yet there was nothing except canoeing. Also be aware of the bathrooms being outside of the cabins. The bathroom was the farthest from the woman’s cabin making it very difficult to walk to during the night. All of my friends and family weren’t very pleased with Camp Timberledge and we all will not be attending this camp again.
★Loading ErrorCamp Timberledge, the greatest summer disappointment of my life. This Camp could very well have been amazing back in it's early days. But I strongly do NOT reccomend this camp. the cabins were extremely hot, no functioning air conditioning, and some of the outlets don't even work. No games or entertainment provided like mentioned in the advertisement Be prepared to bring any entertainment yourself, they have absolutely NOTHING to do besides UNSAFE lake swimming and kayaking,(the kayaking was the only fun part about this camp). Unsafe lake swimming? oh yeah! there's a very small swimming area available for a group of 5-10 max, the floor beneath the swimming area is covered with a wood platform that has old rusty nails sticking out, I and one of my family members were cut with these rusty nails after being given absolutely NO warning about them until AFTER the injury. beware of nails in the swimming area! No air conditioning ANYWHERE even for the people who paid for private rooms. even after requesting to turn it on or provide some sort of AC the owners/workers gave us a hard time about it. Very nice people I can't deny, but Camp Timberledge was the worst summer camp I've ever been to. the ONLY thing keeping this camp in my memories forever is our Evangelist Luis Garcia who made it worthwhile with amazing church service and life changing words. 1 star is being generous
