Camp Tecumseh YMCA
Private
One of the largest YMCA camps in the country, on the Tippecanoe River near Brookston, with nine one-week overnight sessions each summer. Resident camp serves ages 8-15, with campers living roughly ten to a cabin with two counselors and choosing from a broad slate of outdoor activities; one- and two-week stays are available. Camp Tecumseh is ACA-accredited, serves more than 4,000 campers a summer, and uses a voluntary two-tier pricing model so families pay what they can without any difference in the camper experience.

Powered by GoogleIt was a wonderful experience for my 3 kids over several memorable years!
My son recently came back from a trip here and gave me the rundown. Initially him and his friends were not looking forward to this trip because previous experience at these camps were not enjoyable such as the lack of air condition or showers. This place on the other hand was very modern and clean and well equipped to take care of a bunch of seventh graders. He was pleasantly surprised and had fun throughout, even though it was a bit rainy. They did the high ropes course, which was a smashing success. There was variety of different activities to build camaraderie amongst his classmates. He reported that the food was not bad. It contained all of his favorite, such as mac & cheese, pasta, etc. The cabins themselves also are updated with air-conditioning although he did comment it took a while to figure out how to get the AC to kick on.
Just finished family camp here, and it was SO delightful. Love that this place exists to escape to with fun adventures.
We were there this past weekend with over 140 other Girl Scouts and their moms and the experience was one for the books! Sean was incredibly accommodating in every way and the staff were so kind and welcoming. The entire property is beautiful and helped the girls make memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality, we will be back for years to come!
Camp Tecumseh YMCA provided such a wonderful stay for the Mid American Camping Conference! As a Camp Director, I am so impressed by their organization and willingness to help everyone with a need. The bathrooms stayed clean our whole week long visit. The food was wonderful and the facilities our beautiful! I thank them for providing a beautiful space for the colleagues of camping to gather for fellowship! I’m blessed to have the opportunity to see the people who get me through the year in such a positive place!
