Powered by GoogleThe atmosphere is great, the scenery inspiring. The activities were fun and there were several to choose from. The speaker was interesting and the time spent with friends blessed. The food was terrific with many choices. The only complaint was that of our group I was the only one able to use the top bunk, and at my age, with arthritis, I really didn't want to climb up and down. I think next time I may look for lodging nearby, I would only use it for sleeping, the rest of the retreat was wonderful.
The spring women’s retreat 2024 was truly an unforgettable experience. The entire weekend was planned so well. All of the activities were so fun and the staff was amazing. Our speaker Josefina Sanders was inspiring! The worship team was equally amazing, Jenna and Devonne are beautiful singers. We had amazing time of prayer, reflection, fellowship, and worship! I would definitely do this again!
There's no place like home, and that's exactly what the experience is at Camp Monadnock; a Berea Ministry. I had the privilege to go to their winter retreat called Encounter. From the moment you arrive there is someone standing outside in the cold to great every church youth group that comes in. Camp Monadnock is passionate about serving here in New England by preaching the unfalible word of God. They are also passionate to see young middle school and high school kids get into a deeper relationship with God, but they remind the kids that they have to make the choice for themselves. The leadership that is at Camp Monadnock is incredible!!! They make sure everything is running smoothly and that there is opportunity for the kids to be engaged!! I can't wait to see the many years of ministry done here!!
My husband and I attended a marriage retreat here. The presenter was great. We learned some great things. They are Christ focused. All of the points were backed up with scripture. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, and there were a lot of options and variety. The beds were reasonably comfortable, better quality than we expected. The grounds are well maintained and everything was clean. We hope to return in the future.
My son has attended Summer camp for several years now. He absolutely loves it and comes back home rejuvenated, inspired, confident and full of excitement. He loves the counselors and the program. His first time staying overnight he had a severe allergy attack, we were called by the nurse who kept him calm and took care of him as if he was her own. This year he had a bad fall and had to be taken to the hospital. He was escorted by his counselor who called me and said he was calm and no need to worry the doctors would call for permission to treat/xray his ankle. My son was adamant he was fine and wanted to return to the camp. He was taken care of and gratefully no breaks. He called to say he was returning and nothing was going to keep him from going back the following week as well. He said, "I Love it here Mom." I love this program and know he is in good hands with everyone there as well as in God's care. God Bless all the people who put together such an incredible program for our youth.
