Camp Mark Seven is a nonprofit summer camp and retreat in the Adirondacks at Old Forge, New York, serving deaf, hard-of-hearing, and CODA/KODA campers with full sign-language communication access. Since 1982 it has offered overnight youth camps (including a deaf youth camp for ages 9-12 and a deaf film camp) alongside programs for deaf adults, with outdoor and waterfront activities like mountain hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. Campers come from across the U.S. and beyond.

★Katherine MurphyI was very disappointed in the application process of this camp. They charge a 200.00 deposit to register for camp, without it you are unable to register. If your child is unable to attend for any reason they "pocket" your 200.00 and refuse to return your deposit money. They told me the non-returned deposit would be used for "camp operating fees". This does not make sense. The 1,300 charge per camper for 2 weeks should be used for camp operating fees not the 200.00 of a family that is not able to attend. Basically, they have designed a way to steal 200.00 per application submitted. Be careful when applying.
