Camp Marcella is a residential (sleepaway) camp in Rockaway Township for children, teens and adults who are blind or visually impaired or have other special needs, operated by the nonprofit New Jersey Camp for Blind Children, Inc. since 1947. Youth blind/visually-impaired sessions serve campers ages 8-16 at a 1:8 staff ratio, with a two-week session historically offered for visually impaired children ages 5-16. The camp sits on more than 200 acres of woodland with a lake, and its facilities are designed for visually impaired campers.

I have a lot of good memories of the activities we did back then. It’s a really good place to send your kids for the summer. I don’t know if the rules Have changed, but it’s a good two week stay. Your child will get to experience a lot of cool new things and activities and it’s a great socializing Experience. I thought about someday letting my child go to camp here only time will tell.
