- Not a fond of the new ownership.. Camp Luwisomo has been my childhood campground and was my church campground as well.. Everything is just so strict now, which kinda limits all the fun, honestly.. Some nights you just want to enjoy the bonfire and fun activities at night, but their quiet hours are just limiting that factor, which is depressing, and the host WILL come and tell you to be quiet during the quiet hours.. Use to be 2 tents per campsite, now downgrading to ONLY 1 tent per campsite is just money draining.. A lot of the activities just isn't the same anymore and I been attending every other year since 2005.. How sadly this campground has become, the quiet hours & limitations of how many people you can fit into a campsite, with just 1 tent per site.. If you're attending with a large group, I wouldn't recommend this campground at all, you would literally have to rent half of the campsites there, also no activities for groups at all so it's just not worth it to me. If you're attending with just a family of 6, then I would say go for it. But other then that, I didn't really enjoy my stay recently which was in June 2021 because of all the NEW regulations from the new ownership. By all means, don't let this review discourage ya, it's just my opinion stated from my recent experience.. Sadly, this might be my last stay at Camp Luwsomo..

Love all that camp has to offer; year-round outdoor fun! Many reviews here about summertime activities but my favorite trips were winter retreats :) snowshoeing, cross country skiing, broom ball, winter campfires. A great way to get away and enjoy the outdoors during the long winter!

I have been camping at this campground since I was young with my family. Very bad experience here today. Manager is not around campsite half the time to abide by regulated rules but call it when it benefits them or when someone complains. And they "will" not look into on what the issue is or who really did it. They will look for a scapegoat. There is a lot of noise and screaming and if you dont sleep by 10 you will get in trouble. If you want a getaway with family and friends do not choose this campsite. If you want to sing songs and have family time at night do not choose this campsite. Majority of the people here are very rude and steal things so keep your stuff with you at all times. Manager will say they give you 2 warnings for violating any rules but will kick you off their camp ground and try and keep your money even though you're not even going to stay another night. Will never come to this campground again. You just lost a loyal customer for 6 years. I don't know if this is becuase of the new management you guys have but god bless you and anyone who stays at this campground.

I've actually been going to this campground since it was ran by my cousin's cousin Ranger Dave!!! That was at least 25 years ago!!! I have a daughter now and we try to rent one of the three cabins every year, but it has been awhile😢! We live in Oshkosh, so it's only @ 45 min. away. So, we pack up the dog (he loves it there too) and child and at least take a nice hike on a nice weekend!!! This place is DEFINITELY A TEN FOR ME throughout the years!!!! Thank you Michelle and Tammy!!!

Our daughter and her fiance wanted something unique and outdoors for their wedding venue, and were pleasantly surprised that this incredible venue was practically in our backyard. This venue had everything we were looking for from the breathtaking view from Meditation Hill for the ceremony to the spacious banquet facility. The venue and surrounding area was so beautiful, we didn’t have to leave the venue for pictures. Minute Meals was fantastic! From the moment we walked into the tasting session until we exited the dining hall, Ben & Katie treated and served us with respect, friendliness, and responsiveness. Communication throughout the process was prompt and helpful. The food (from the hors d’oeuvres, prime rib, roasted chicken, manicotti, bacon-wrapped pork medallions and roasted chicken to the late night homemade pizza) tasted great, and we were very impressed on how Ben, Katie and their staff went above and beyond countless times. They were very flexible, and a joy to work with. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Bill, Doria, Tom and the entire staff were quick to answer our questions and go out of their way to make sure our wishes were accommodated! We would 100% recommend Camp LuWiSoMo to anyone looking for a breathtaking wedding venue! Dan and Linda Gauthier
