Amazing spots to explore with trails opening up into little clearings.

It's a sureal gentle place. Calming, especially in the meadow. It's a really great place for large group camping. And soon to be daily camping. They will be opening a Jr. Frisbee golf course, in the near future. The Spring fed Olympic swimming pool is the 1st for me. I guess Olympiains used to swim there and train. All and all a heartwarming place to go camping in the Redwoods.

It looked totally devasted and creepy when we went there... Nobody there, no signs no nothing.

This old 4H camp has a nice dining area, commercial kitchen, redwood trees, a big swimming pool, a nice central lawn, funky bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, and space for dispersed camping. Less than an hour from Santa Cruz, Watsonville, or Los Gatos, but very remote and quiet.

We host a singing camp here for adults, and it the pristine beauty of the redwoods, meadows, and creek astound our campers. This is a true gem of a camp that I am so grateful to have discovered. The kitchen is well stocked and worked perfectly for our needs. The camp is rustic with no cabins, so make sure your campers actually like to camp!
