Camp Jefferson is Jefferson Township's municipal summer day camp on a 96-acre site at 81 Weldon Road, running 9 AM to 3 PM for nine weeks from late June through late August. The property carries a 40-foot rock-climbing wall with a 250-foot zip line, a high/low ropes challenge course, an archery range, an amphitheatre, basketball courts, open fields, cabins, a movie theater and a spring-fed lake used for boating and catch-and-release fishing, and campers also take off-site trips. Camp serves children from age 3 (fully potty-trained) through a kindergarten program and groups for children entering 1st to 4th grades. Registration is open to non-residents as well as township residents, who receive a $10 per week discount, and early-bird registration saves $30 per week.
