My family has been going to Camp Istrouma for generations. My mother, myself and 3 sisters, now 2 of my children have gone to the overnight summer camp. It's such a great experience. They not only play and have so many phyical activities but they also nurture the character and spiritual side to each child. Such a great camp!
Soo disappointing. Got a last minute email that camp was canceled for the week after spending lots of money preparing my child to attend for the week with suggested supplies from their list. On top of that paid over 400.00 plus a non refundable fee for camp. Email stated the deposit will be nonrefundable. My child was excited and was looking forward to this for weeks. Child was devastated when we got the news a night before leaving. After seeing such great reviews its definitely a noo for me. Wish I could have given 0 stars.
Had choir retreats, camps, and just got married here. The venue is beautiful all on its own for endless possibilities. Absolutely love the guys that own and work the grounds. Best experience possible, so affordable and accommodating. Sweetest people you’ll ever work with!!!
Camp Istrouma has had such an amazingly positive impact on my children spiritually. We are 5 years in I believe. They are technology free for a week and look forward to it every year!!!
