Powered by GoogleIts very fun, i enjoy something they call 'cool group' and its where they talk about the diffrent verses in the bible and discuss it with the kids.
…I cannot begin to explain how amazing the energy is at this camp- to extend an honest review, i will add that I had to pull my autistic son out due to his newfound extreme phobia of flying bugs, “but” in the short time he was there, the kindness and joy witnessed at this camp was beyond all- the counselors embody such a pure and gentle essence, and you just feel safe when you walk away- I truly wish my son could have experienced the full camp, but I can honestly say that no one suggested he leave- this camp went above and beyond to assist him- the decision to make him more comfortable was of my own doing- if you’re considering this camp, you have come across a beautiful find- blessings.
My kids love coming here every summer, which is honestly the most I could hope for. They’ve made great friends, and the counselors are great (I’ve even found a great babysitter among them). Highly highly recommend. Just some of the activities include: swimming, rock-wall climbing, zip lining, creek stomping. They also have “specialty” camps each week like canoeing, football, cheerleading, pottery, soccer, volleyball, outdoor adventure, cooking, etc.
Our kids have absolutely loved Camp Indy- they have all said they are going next year. Counselors are friendly, energetic and our kids always have fun stories!
We love Campy Indy; our boys have been going to the camp for years and they have a wonderful Christ centered program!
