As a student who had the opportunity to experience Camptown, I truly cherished my time there. I participated in all the camping trips, and each one was a wonderful experience that I miss every day. The staff consistently provided a welcoming and kind environment for the children, and the food was surprisingly better than we had anticipated. They also offered breaks during the longer walks, allowing us to recharge, and encouraged us to explore our surroundings. However, I do wish we had received some photos from the white water rafting experience, as that was undoubtedly the highlight of my time there.

This place was supposed to be in charge of a school trip for my 14 year old. They changed the location without letting parents know. They only seem concerned about my tone because they had my child more than an hour from where they were supposed to be rather than the fact that i didn't know where they had my minor child!!! We have spoken. However, there wasn't a single person who apologized or seemed remotely concerned about my child. I called 3 times and was told someone would call me back as soon as possible. No one bothered to call me back. My child didn't enjoy the time. My child slipped in water crossing by rocks than a more stable option and was still forced to hike in wet clothing. We can continue to have this conversation publicly or someone was was supposed to call me could actually call me and attempt to make things right rather than focus on my tone of voice!!!!

Our middle schoolers had an absolute BLAST with Camptown. The staff was incredibly experienced and skilled and were able to engage with even our shyest of kids and get them excited about the outdoors. Can't recommend them enough!

I am an educator at a school that utilizes Camptown. Our kids absolutely enjoy the program! We are in the city, and many of the students who attended had never been camping before! With this program, we were able to take twelve 8th grade students on an overnight field trip! The location had to be changed due to natural disaster destroying the original spot, however the new place was even better! Camptown sent out new permission slips with all the changes as soon as they were finalized. The Camptown staff sent us packing list to share with families and helped us prepare students for their trip. The staff was kind and inclusive to our students. The kids enjoyed time camping, canoeing, fishing, playing games and spending time with their friends! We all had a blast!
