Between The Pages - Camp Half-Blood Austin · Private
Camp Half-Blood Austin is a live-action role-play day camp based on Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, run by local nonprofit Between the Pages since 2006. Each five-day session is a story chapter set in a state park, with campers as 'demigods' doing sword training, archery, monster battles, music, spoken-word poetry and epic quests, woven with themes of self-acceptance and creative problem-solving. Tuition is about $747 per session.

Powered by GoogleEverytime I’m there I get dragged on some weird quest and then after I literally died and came back I found out they let my bff die. Like how are you gonna do that. Plus the food is nasty and the Stolls keep stealing my money. And I even had to leave this review through my immortal girlfriend’s phone cuz apparently they can send 12 year olds to fight dieties but cant stop monsters from hunting us cuz of our phones 😮💨🔥 all da ladies still love me tho
Pretty cool! But the ares kids were so annoying! And I almost got murdered like Percy STOP HANGING OUT WITH ME WE AREN’T FRIENDS, I mean If you wanna get killed come right on and like was there only like 4 iris kids like we matter!
As a daughter of Aphrodite, I love Camp Half-Blood! It's so fun to spy on couples like a soap opera, and the breakup is always the best part! But should we really have it on a map? I wouldn't want monsters and humans finding it...
Camp Half-Blood is great, but things can get scary sometimes. Definitely not for the weak of heart (I don't mean this literally. If you have a heart abnormality, the Apollo kids can probably fix you right up)! Aside from that, everyone is super nice (well, except for the Ares kids) and there's never a dull moment around here. I can't speak for the quality of the cabin accomodations, unfortunately, because I am the only non-demigod here and don't get to sleep there 😔. But hey, the arts and crafts pavilion is AWESOME, and the volleyball pits are really cool too, not to mention the strawberry fields. Overall, it's a great place, and I'm only not giving it five stars because of the danger factor. Lovely place, lovely people, highly recommend it! Oh, and the activities director is a centaur. Just so you know. And if you want a quest, please don't blame me for any foretellings of doom I may utter. It's really not my fault.
I was claimed by Hecate goddess of witchcraft! I'm attending chb right now, we do so much fun activities I would 100% recommend putting your demi-god child here, we do archery, music, pottery, quests, sword fighting (with foam swords) and so much more! I have made some really amazing friends and I am makeing some great memories!
