In my scouting years went here a few times and I am in my 70's now and still hold those times dear to my heart. Great place for a young scout to grow and learn.

Just spent a week at Camp Gorsuch as part of their AUHA program. We are a Minnesota based troop. I have spent the better part of 30 years associated with Scouting and am an Eagle Scout myself. Over that 30 years our troop has gone out of council for summer camp every other year. This was far and away the absolute best experience I have ever had. From the “can do” spirit of the staff, to the program options and Alaska’s beauty. As a scout we did a Canadian fly in fishing trip through Northern Tier in Bisset, MB. This was far and away a superior experience. Stories that will be told for generations to come.

If you want to build lasting memories, learn something new, make new friends and have a great time with your kids, this is the place to do it!! The staff are amazing, it's beautiful, I can't say praise them enough. HIGHLY recommend it!

There are more special memories for me than I could possibly recount in this one review. Not only going there as a scout but also working there for two summers in 1993 and 1994 as a Counselor. Scott Powell is an absolute legend and was like a second father to me. His death is one of the great tragedies of my life. But I will never forget the important lessons that this camp taught meand how important it was to my development as a person today. Gorsuch is to me, scouting paradise...out in God's country, tonight.

Great spot for scouts. Even in the winter they have a blast.
