Camp Canaan sits on a 100-acre island in the Catawba River at Rock Hill, reached by a single bridge that stays gated during the camp day. It serves children ages 5-16 with both day camp and overnight sessions, running nine consecutive weeks from the first Sunday in June through the last week of July. Older day campers take on ziplining, a high adventure course, archery tag, disc golf, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding.

Starting with Kim and Clay they were fantastic, warm and inviting and very knowledgeable. Then we did the tour with the instructors, Amy, Maddie, and Charles and they all three were very informative, supportive and kind the entire time. They were very mindful of everyone's safety and well-being as well as feelings, especially being higher up in the air. It was a lot of fun and we would do it again in the future. We are very happy with our choice and met up with some great people!
