Camp Brainy Bunch is the elementary-school day camp brand of Education Unlimited, running at Bay Area sites including Dublin, Oakland, Orinda, Fremont, Palo Alto and San Francisco. Campers entering grades 1 through 6 spend each week taking on a role - young doctor, lawyer, writer, engineer, detective, inventor or explorer - through hands-on projects built around design thinking, communication and collaboration, with separate groupings for rising 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th and 5th-6th graders. Camp runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with extended care from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and tuition is about $495 per week.
