Powered by Googlewas here because my granddaughter is enrolled in classes. The parking outside is hectic people dont park well, not respecting the lines, I was excited to check how it were. First thing noticed, the personal doesn't have any structure, they change my kid to another spot with bigger kids, I thought it was gonna be good but no. The teenagers were doing their thing as they know howto do it, my kid is new at m that, she was just looking. Then she started jumping and copying what others do, the eacher move her from one foam tool so another one wanted to Use it, and she was standing there nobody paying attention, actually they don't pay attention to nobody, kids do whatever they can with no lidership n from the staff. I noticed other kids standing the same waiting for someone to help them. That's a shameful attitude. Also I noticed teachers arguing for the spots to use, this place is very unorganized, the price is fair, but because of that they should have professional people working with the kids, it could be fatal if they don't have instruction what to do and do it wrong. ls a huge place and the teachers or assistants are young, if they are doing this for the payment is terrible, management should hire loving people, patient and willing to share gymnastics skills, they go to play only, or to see other's doing flips. I hope this place makes the improvements needed. Finishing this month i the last class for my kid, because is paid, but definitely we are going somewhere else.
I won’t give even 1 star. The management are just money hungry people. They don’t focus on child’s growth rather grabbing more money by arranging special summer camps or asking for private coaching. I had my child for 1 year there and she had several coaches. They were always focusing on “selective” children only and not on my child. I had complained couple of times and nothing happened. They were literally ignoring my child during coaching. Then I changed the batch and guess what happened. New coach told she needs to start from scratch for my child’s coaching?!! I meant what is that? My child went in a same class for 9 months and now new coach is saying she needs to start from scratch? After couple of classes, she said I can pay her $40 for 30 mins private class so that my child can learn one missing skill. I said I don’t have time to come on weekdays so she will just learn in regular weekend class. I waited for 2 more months and they said they lost my child’s report card!!!! Finally I left with big disappointment! So in a nutshell, don’t go there, just save money (I wasted $1280) and go to some other gymnastics where people respect you and coach your child well.
The perfect educating family business. We have been attending for almost 3 years and those are the only lessons always desired by my 8 years old. Can’t wait when my toddler goes here too. Fun, educating, physically strengthening, making friends. And the staff is always friendly, willing to help.
Food: NA/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Parking: 3/5 Family friendly: 4/5 Stroller friendly: 2/5 My daughter has been coming to California Gymnastics for about 2 years now, since she started with the parent and me class. She thoroughly enjoys every second. Coaches work well with the kids and I can tell my daughters confidence improves after every session. Levels range from novice to advanced ( don't know if they have elite or Olympian level training here) with kids ranging from 2-12? From what I've seen. Only challenge is parking because it's shared with so many other businesses, especially around 9-11am on sat when the weekend classes start. If you're in the area and are interested in having your kids participate in gymnastics if California gymnastics a try.
My daughter has been a gymnast at California Gymnastics for about 6 years now. She is currently on the Xcel Silver team and absolutely loves competing with her teammates! She loves the coaches there and is highly self-motivated to succeed and progress! The coaches there are excellent! I love the interactions I have with the other parents and the team spirit that is beginning to bloom. My daughter is off to another phenomenal year this year. I highly recommend this gym!
