Very disappointing experience. I enrolled my child at the La Brea Centre, which has since closed, and paid a substantial amount for registration, classes, and a uniform. By the second session, it became apparent that the Centre was highly disorganized and failed to deliver the level of professionalism and quality described on its website. In addition to not receiving the uniform that had already been paid for, families arrived one day to find LAPD on site because management at the Beverly Hills Centre had changed the locks due to a contractual dispute. Unfortunately, no effort was made to communicate this situation to the affected families in advance. As a result, I requested a refund for the undelivered uniform, unused classes, and registration fees. I completed all required paperwork provided by the Beverly Hills Centre and followed up repeatedly, making approximately ten phone calls. Each time, I was given the same explanation that the accountant was unavailable and that the matter would be addressed once they returned. The overall experience was extremely unprofessional and, at times, felt comparable to dealing with a scam operation. Ultimately, the only way I was able to recover my money was by disputing the charges through my bank. I strongly encourage prospective families to carefully review the numerous negative reviews on Google and Yelp before enrolling their children here. Based on my experience, this business is not professionally managed.

This place is TERRIBLE! the staff is rude and ignorant. They claim to be professional but are clearly the opposite. Tanya has no social skills and is highly unprofessional, carylina or whatever her name is, is ignorant and rude also. Someone mentioned to me that lisa was totally out of pocket and ignorant as well. I know there are way better facilities to take my children to and they can be taught by people who actually want to work and know what they are doing.

Absolute fraud and deceptive business practices. I paid for 8 sessions in advance at the La Brea location. They closed that branch without notice and tried to force me to travel to Beverly Hills instead. When I declined, they had me fill out a "refund form" months ago, only to completely ghost me. Every time I call, I get the same runaround: "the credit department isn't in" or "we'll call you back." They never do. Even worse, they actively fought my credit card dispute by claiming the charge was "non-refundable," despite the fact that they are the ones who failed to provide the service at the contracted location. As a fellow business owner, I am disgusted by this lack of integrity. See you in Small Claims Court. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. [UPDATE - April 20, 2026] It has been 3 weeks since the owner replied to this review promising a full refund and a follow-up within 3 business days. UNBELIEVABLY, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. They have not called, emailed, or issued the refund as promised in their public response. I even called them again recently, and they are STILL giving me the exact same runaround, claiming the "credit department is not in" and promising a callback that never comes. This proves their public apology was a complete sham and a deceptive tactic just to look good to potential customers while continuing to ghost me privately. They are still holding my money for services they failed to provide at the contracted location. DO NOT TRUST THEIR REPLIES!

We started going to the BHGC before my daughter turned three, and she has been loving it since! The coaches are professional and well- positioned to protect the gymnasts. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym provides discounts and flexibility when we sign up for multiple hours a week. There can be some chaotic moments especially with the younger gymnasts, but coaches and staffs are very good at maintaining the flow of the classes. The coaches also provide private lessons which are phenomenal. We have recommended BHGC to our friends and they love it too.
