Junior tennis day camp run by Brookline Tennis Academy on the outdoor courts at The Roxbury Latin School in West Roxbury, enrolling weekly from June 8 through August 28 for ages 4-16. The camp day starts with a 8:55am warm-up, stroke analysis and court assignments, then instruction and drills, a snack break, and game-based play; morning campers leave at 12:00pm and full-day campers stay through lunch for afternoon strategy sessions and match play, departing at 3:00pm. Early drop-off from 8:00am is available and campers bring their own snacks and lunch. Coaches group children by age and ability on the first day, and Yellow, Green and Orange Ball players can join a match-play league against area clubs; a CIT program is also offered. Camp proceeds rain or shine, moving indoors to the athletic facility when needed.

The coaches are all spectacular professionals and care deeply about student development. They make the 90-minute group adult sessions truly fun and upbeat. The sessions are a very fun mix of technique drills and various games. I am so glad I discovered the Brookline Tennis Academy.
