★M. A.I enrolled my three kids (ages 15, 12, and 7) at the Wise School location in Dearborn Heights with the expectation that they would actually learn how to swim. After over three months, my kids still do not know how to swim. To be fair, the facility itself is nice, clean, and well-maintained. The staff are polite, respectful, and friendly, and the environment is safe and welcoming for kids. My children enjoyed the experience, so from an entertainment perspective, it was fine. However, when it comes to actual swim instruction, this program was a huge disappointment. The progress is extremely slow and feels intentionally stretched out. It honestly seems like the system is designed to keep kids enrolled for months or even years just to reach basic swimming ability. My two younger daughters made it to the “turtle” level, yet they still cannot swim independently or handle deep water. What really confirmed this for me was comparing experiences: a friend of mine took his kids to a church-based swim program, and all three of his children are now confidently swimming in deep water in far less time. My older son already knew how to swim, so I wasn’t worried about him. But for my other two kids, this was a waste of time and money if your goal is to actually teach swimming, not just water familiarity.

Both Sindus and Hussein were her instructors. They not only taught her how to swim but gave her tools she needed to keep improving and fast forward a few years later now she swims at a varsity level competitively. Highly recommend British swim school. Clean facility as well.
