Val and I had a wonderful time not only seeing and hearing Kevin Kelly and Christopher Leavy at the temporary home for the Winter Park Playhouse in Orlando but with talking to some wonderful people before the show. The nice lady at Shakes in charge of opening the doors and directing people to the correct theater to Skip Stewart, Kevin's husband to Heather Alexander who has more grace and positive energy than anyone I know and is always a delight to talk with ... she treats everyone like a best friend and I am sure she has no idea who we are but you would never know if...they all made Val and I feel so welcome. We came home to three very excited pups to see us as we were gone a little over 4 hours which is a long time for them. I slept really well and just had pleasant dreams I am sure due to all of the above. For a brief moment all the horrible things going on in our country and the world were shoved aside due to our talented friends and wonderful kind caring humans. Thank you Winter Park Playhouse!!!! ★Charlotte BrownI’m not sure what’s changed since these 5 star reviews, but performing at breakthrough was my worst theater experience by far. The way the owners treated our cast and crew was incredibly immature. We booked the space to perform our show, and even though they confirmed the booking, the owners threatened to cancel our show because we “weren’t supposed to be there.” The owner, Wade, proceeded to post passive aggressive Facebook posts about our company. After several more instances and screaming matches, it’s safe to say I won’t return.
