The Boys & Girls Club of the Columbia Area runs a summer day camp for youth ages 6–18, operating Monday through Friday, 7:45am–5:15pm. Campers take part in field trips, swimming, arts and crafts, science, games and weekly themes in a supervised club setting; teen members ages 13–18 attend free.

★Chris YoungDo not send your children to the Boys and Girls Club after school program. While it seems like a cost effective after school program for your child, the Site Managers are inept and seem to lack control of the children. There was rampant bullying in the Eliot Battle after school program, and while the Site Manager acknowledged it was happening on several occasions and ensured they took that seriously, it continued to happen and never improved. The Site Manager Celeste is a young girl who obviously lacks any experience in a leadership role as she seems flustered and gets frustrated with both children and adults easily. My son left a jacket there, and the site manager told him that it was thrown away since he left it there(there is a Lost and Found there at the school). My son came home directly from school for 6 days and I was told by the site manager(immediately before being abruptly hung up on) that my son was "no longer an active member because he hadn't been there for 3 weeks." I tried contacting the Columbia Office Manager multiple times but I never get my calls returned. Do not send your children here, look elsewhere for your child's after school care, for your child's sake.
