Boys & Girls Club of Evansville
Private
Boys & Girls Club of Evansville runs a summer program for kids ages 5-17 across several sites, with hours and dates varying by location. The OneMain unit on Bellemeade Avenue is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays from June 1 to July 31 for ages 5-17; the Fulton Square unit runs 11 a.m.-4 p.m. from June 29 to July 31 for ages 5-14; and a Rockport Elementary site runs 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. from June 8 to July 10, with early drop-off from 8 a.m. for $5 a day. Shorter June sessions at Tekoppel and Evans elementary schools serve those schools' own K-5 students, and children in EVSC summer school at Harper and Delaware can be bused to the main unit for afternoon programming. The club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; children ages 5 and 6 must provide proof of age and grade completion.

I wanna shout out to this club. My son is doing better in school now. They help him with his homework which is a pain to get him to do at home. Playing and having fun afterwards seems to be rewarding for him and motivates him to do better in school. I also want to thank Mrs. Leah for helping him make his Minecraft Valentine’s Day box for his school project ! Your a life saver ❤️ thank you for going above and beyond
Sadly they allow kids to bully others. When the child being bullied stands up for themselves they get punished and get kicked out permanently while the bully still gets to go. Kids with disabilities are not treated equally and are labeled as problem children. My kids use to love coming now all they do is complain. I have pulled my kids out and they will never go back.
Great place for children to go, good atmosphere friendly and safe! Children of all sizes and backgrounds are welcome.
My kids love going here after school and during school breaks. They have allot of different programs for the kids also. And the staff is great.
