★★★★★Alexis LaForgeETA: I called the Boys & Girls Club and spoke with the new owner. He explained the school had asked them to park there, even though the manager had requested a different spot. I believe this, as the school previously told me not to park there even with a disabled placard, and they often direct parents without disabled plates there as well. I really appreciate the owner calling me back the same day and understanding the situation. He supported me in addressing the issue with the school, since he hadn’t wanted the van parked there in the first place. I’m leaving this review up to show the effort made to fix the situation. I initially spoke with staff who may not have realized the importance of the request, which is why I later asked for a manager. As someone with a disability, it didn’t occur to me right away that I needed to escalate it. Thank you for your patience and help!! Original review based on the school's lack of compliance to start then to add a new principal and a new boys and girls club owner. And me calling both but only reading to the front desk of the BGC. Parks in 3 handicap spots daily. Called the school, called the Boys and girls club and the non emergency line. A young adult male still parks here everyday regardless. In 3 spots. He used to just park in front of them blocking them which is just as bad. There is a empty spot by this area without a disabled sign. Park somewhere that's not illegal or ignoring others disabilities. This is ableist and disrespectful to continue knowing that even if it was normal spots illegal. ★Airplane ReviewsHorrible I use to go here over the summer and I’m a chill a happy guy. Everyday I wanted to leave and would get mad. One time when it was super hot the staff said you had a choice to stay outside or inside. Ofc me and other kids went inside. But they decided to tell us scary stories. Now to me it was not even that scary, but to a 5 year old or younger, that can be very scary. And if you do not want to hear it you could go back outside in the shade. The main playground/play place is so small, and there is a huge playground on the other side of the fence( which we could cross anytime) morning I can get it, you need to sign in. But MIDAY???!!!!. One day their was a wild fire and the made us evacuate which was good. But the next day they just pretend that the fire never happened. BUT there could have been ash which could be dangerous. The place just had a horrible look to it like it was built in 2008. So basically it is a horrible place DON’T GO!
