The Bower Center for the Arts, a nonprofit at 305 N. Bridge Street in Bedford, runs youth summer art camps split by age. Once Upon an Art Camp serves ages 6 to 12 and builds multi-media art projects around familiar characters and stories, while NextGen Artists Camp is for rising 6th graders and up who want more advanced studio work. Camps are underwritten by a grant from the Al Stroobants Foundation and scholarships are available so cost does not exclude a child. Daily hours are not stated.
