Signed up to swim there since Fairhope Pool was closed for remodel/repair. Positives: warm temperature and available jacuzzi. Negatives: insufficient number of lanes, closure of outside pool because " don't have enough lifeguards" and an indifferent staff. I forgot to mention that the fees are double what I paid at the Fairhope Pool.

My experience so far has been great! The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. You can't go wrong with any of their services. My 5 yr. old has played a season of basketball here and he takes swim lessons here as well. Both experiences have been great. My 16 yr. old just got a membership. I'll update on how that goes. Their website is easy to navigate as well. If you're thinking of joining don't wait any longer.

We truly love the Bounds YMCA - the childcare staff is amazing. Our kids love coming here, they truly care, and the staff is wonderful. The gym equipment itself is diverse and you can get a great workout in with what’s currently here. We feel so thankful to be member here - 10/10 recommend.

Staff is excellent. This two star review is not a reflection of the staff or the equipment. I want to make that very clear, the staff is the only reason I was gracious enough to give 2 stars. I am giving this facility a two star review because of how inconvenient they make it to go, esp. as a parent. Every single sector of this facility has different hours. The gym itself has a set of hours that are different than the childcare facility which are both different than the pool hours. To add a little sugar to that medicine, all three of those are different from the basketball court hours. There is ZERO standardization to this facility, and it warrants change. To expect your clients to memorize 4 different sets of operating hours (5 of you include the express gym) is not only a bad business practice, but completely asinine. Cherry on top: when they are closed for maintenance or holidays, they do a poor job of advertising that. I know this will likely lead to zero change, but I pray the executives and operators of the gym wake up when they see this, because the operating hours of this gym is nothing short of unacceptable.

We have one of the best YMCA’s! Lots of long-term, dedicated staff members and patrons make this a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Facilities offer something for everyone: indoor & outdoor pool; dry sauna; ample group fitness classes w/ lots of variety; indoor track; and well-maintained cardio machines and strength-training equipment. The Bounds Y offers a great value and service to our Daphne community! Body Pump class is my favorite:) Check it out!
