Absolutely awful communication across the board. COE is a joke. Coach Bev is the only reason this place still has kids. If he left everyone would find other clubs. If you want competitive soccer find another club. If you're here for rec. Then you have nothing to worry about.

My child will not be returning to this club, and I feel it’s important to share why. There is a serious lack of structure around teaching respect and sportsmanship. One particular child, who has long white hair, was consistently pushing smaller kids and yelling at others—including my son. Neither the coach nor the child’s mother intervened. Even more concerning, the father appeared to encourage this behavior, focusing solely on winning rather than teaching basic manners and teamwork. This kind of environment is unacceptable, especially for six-year-olds. My son should not have to endure bullying or disrespect during what’s supposed to be a positive, team-oriented activity. Additionally, it’s clear the club prioritizes taller or more physically developed kids when deciding who gets to play. This is supposed to be a developmental program—every child should be getting coached, supported, and given opportunities to learn and participate, not just the ones who look like they might win games. If this club wants to truly support young athletes, they need to take a hard look at how they’re managing behavior, promoting respect, and providing equal opportunities to all players.

If you are looking for a club level soccer team for kids under 8 this is not the place. New director of youth program has no clue how to coach and teach younger boys. No consistency in teaching from year to year and program changes as do coaches. Should have not registered this past year because it had the worst effect that any club should ever have on a younger child and that it is that it completely turned my son off from playing soccer since they were are all so confused all the time.

Decent restrooms, well marked fields. Paved parking, but when we were there it was hard to get a spot. There was a food truck and a snow cone stand. Some shade. Playground for the littles.

Moved here about 3 years ago and have been with various Soccer Club Teams all throughout the US. It was by default that not only Boerne Soccer Club but Coach Wayne was highly recommended. I reached out to Coach Wayne and squeezed us in for a tryout. Needless to say that was the beginning of a relationship where Transparency , Trust and Loyalty are paramount. The guidance that not only Coach Wayne provides but Boerne Soccer Club as a whole are instrumental to the players growth. With their personalize individual goals and the encouragement to give back to OUR Community , Boerne Soccer Club is not looking at each player as just a player but looking at them as INDIVIDUALS and the potential they each have to grow and develop as part of a TEAM , a FAMILY. I can personally testify that my daughter ( and as parents ) Boerne Soccer Club feels like HOME. We take care of each other, we are encouraged to set our goals as a Team and as Individuals, we are encourage to give back to our community and guide our Micro, Tots , Rec , Academy and Select Teams. My daughter not only developed as a player, but built character and took ownership as a Rec Coach.
