Hill Country Youth Soccer Association is AYSO Region 528, an all-volunteer recreational soccer program founded in 1983 that serves children ages 4-18 from Kerrville, Bandera, Comfort, Ingram, Junction, Medina and other Hill Country towns, playing at the Kerrville Sports Complex. Core seasons run eight weeks in the fall (plus Soccer Fest and the Guadalupe Cup) and six to eight weeks in the spring, with a short four-week spring program for ages 3-4 and a between-seasons play option. The region also lists camps and tournaments for ages 4-18, though camp dates, hours and prices vary and are posted separately.

I love that not only are skills are worked on, fun is encouraged, everyone plays, and the facility is beautiful. The staff that runs the day to day soccer activities are amazing. They are very passionate about soccer and really are here for the youth athletes. My kids love it!!
★Nathan ResslerThis is the worst soccer organization with the best facilities I've ever witnessed. They have a brand new, fantastically up-kept soccer complex that would be great for hosting tournaments. $2 Million was spent on the complex and it's beautiful - but the citizens should ask for their money back. The recreational league is barely competent. The select team is even worse - so poorly run on all levels that they lose games 14-0 (which is demoralizing) and they can't seem to figure out it's their own coaching and organization - they blame the lack of participation. Through most of the games I think they should take the advice of Mr. Scheibel from 'The Queens Gambit' in that if you play like that "you resign now." I take my kid an hour away so that they can enjoy the game and develop. Until there is total organizational change I recommend avoiding this organization.
