The Black Canyon Boys & Girls Club is a Montrose nonprofit (founded 1999) offering affordable after-school and summer day programs for youth ages 6-18. Its summer program runs June through mid-August, 8 am-5 pm, out of a renovated former Main Street movie theater with a gym, teaching kitchen and theater. Programming spans education and career development, character and leadership, health and life skills, the arts, and sports and recreation.
