Powered by GoogleIt's a good place to workout but the guys there don't let me use the gym equipment. I had to skip 3 equipment pieces while I was there Monday. I wish someone could talk to them about getting up and sharing with everyone else.
Had a birthday party here. I responded to all requests promptly and reconfirmed my booked party 3 times. When I arrived, they didn't have me in the system as a booked party. They double booked that party room/ gym. They claimed that it was because I didn't pay ahead. I had NO request for payment ahead of time. The instructor did a great job in accommodating us last minute. But we were put in a run down classroom and started 15 minutes late. Also, I was charged $100 more than quoted because the person setting every up didn't read my email about not being a member. I'm writing this review to warn anyone doing a party with this Y.
They turned my 13 year old Son away because he no longer wanted his membership and just requested a day pass. Mind You' You only pay for the month in advance, So it's not like he OWED them anything just wanted to save his Money for his upcoming Birthday in a few days. Disgusted by whoever that Man was. Basically told a THIRTEEN year old "It's all business or No Business!! I wonder why he treated my Son like that? I have two guesses, But Thankfully I couldn't be there to ask him myself while his Mom was able to turn around and Gracefully handle it. Again Disgusting!!
We signed our son up for swim classes and were really hoping to support and become a part of this community fitness center. Unfortunately, there have been literally no upgrades despite the merger. We've gone to the Quakertown and Upper Perk Y's and this can best be described as similar to a rundown prison. It is very sad that this is the best that the Y can offer our community and kids. Their leadership team really needs to look at the disparity between this and other facilities. That being said, the girls who do the swim lessons are very kind. Last night was our first opportunity to tour the facility since joining to sign up for swim lessons and we will be canceling our membership today. I did not feel safe in the women's locker room.
Great and friendly people , they have a pool ,steam room , sauna , which is very good for me , no private showers 🥴 (I’m not that confident lol) , you can get lost easily if you are not familiar with this facility . Some people use the sauna to dry their sweaty clothes 🤮. I have to say that this location needs some Work . The jacuzzi seems to have been broke for a long time, it looks disgusting and many rooms have a bad snell .
