Berryessa Youth Center
City of San José Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services · Private
Berryessa Youth Center is a City of San Jose community facility that runs the municipal Camp San Jose day-camp program each summer. Campers play games and sports, make arts and crafts, sing songs, and take weekly field trips in one-week sessions staffed at about a 1:10 leader-to-child ratio. Enrollment is open to the public through the city (in person or online), and scholarships are available as funding allows.

This Y has great events and features for the community and our kids. I can't thank them enough.
I sent my 7 and 5 year old boys here for summer camp and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The cost is very affordable considering it is an all-day camp from 8am-6pm. Relative to other camps, it is almost half the cost if considering the per hour cost. Kids did crafts, games and a little bit of enrichment. They also had weekly field trips. My only feedback to the program would be to possibly integrate some homework/tutoring time within the schedule but that is just my 2 cents. Otherwise kids had a good time and staff and friendly.
This is a bad place they don't feed the kids and don't help them with homework at all to the point kids quit
It's a cool place for kids but it's very pack
