Powered by GoogleOur daughter, Lottie’s first sleep-away camp was Berkshire United and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Following Lottie’s first season of playing travel volleyball, a teammate’s mom suggested Berkshire United camp as the next step in her skill progression. The coaching team was excellent and our daughter bonded with the counselors and other campers. The volleyball program was comprehensive and Lottie learned a great deal during her two-week stay. It took her game to the next level. The staff was so attentive to our questions and walked us through every question we had. Lottie can’t wait to get back to Berkshire United to up her game even more and make new friends.
Berkshire United Sports Camp was a great experience for our son! His primary sport was baseball with a lot of one to one instruction. There was a perfect balance of primary sport and traditional camp life. The kids were kept busy and entertained. He did not miss his electronics while he was there.
If I could give a 3 and a half I could. Now this is a sleepaway camp and a day camp if you live close. I went to a sleepaway camp for 1 week here (six nights) with a friend. I have a lot of mixed opinions about this summer camp. Now this was my first real sleepaway camp and I’ve got to say it was 100% a good experience. Now it’s tech free and split up into different age groups. You request your primary sport and basically do that everyday. Here is where I’ll start. One thorn I have about this camp is that every day is so repetitive. It’s always breakfast primary sport lunch primary sport. Elective (which was stupid) then dinner and after dinner some nightime activity like a campfire. I have to give flowers to the fact that this was a first time camp as well. The councilors were all super nice except one but I won’t give out the name. Food was very average. I got so sick of the disgusting pasta everyday like bro stop being so lazy and make something other than the GODANG pasta lol. Some meals were ok though and for camp food not many complaints. Overall I could go on but I have no need. I recommend one week only for this camp which is the perfect amount of time to send your child. 2 weeks is very repetitive. Once again I enjoyed the experience but I just have minor issues. This rating is a 3.5 technically in my opinion even though I put down a 4.
