Bellingham Yacht Club's youth sailing program teaches sailing and racing in dinghies matched to sailor size, plus a keelboat camp and beginner and advanced cruising camps for teens. Learn-to-sail classes run Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm, across summer break for ages 8-18, with classes for first-timers through advanced racers on Bellingham Bay. A summer race team practices twice a week and travels to weekend regattas, and an adventure cruising program runs for teen sailors at the end of the summer. Club membership is not required to enroll.
