Has a good group training room not available at state college Y

If I could give no stars I would. My husband got a membership here for a few months and then canceled it. Then they started charging him again and refused to refund $250 because THEY purposely put it on hold instead of canceling his membership like he told them to. Money hungry scammers do NOT waste your time.

The staff is fantastic at this Y. Humble and helpful, rather than arrogant and condescending that you get at other facilities. I've been in many Y's around the country and this group is top notch. Love the facilities too. Don't need new everything. My favorite place to work out in Centre County. Thanks for being there.

Both of my kids have attended their childcare program and loved it! The staff is very caring and they both looked forward to going! Also, their semi-private training program is awesome - I really enjoy going to the gym now, everyone is so supportive!

Several years ago, my children took classes at the Y in Bellefonte. The staff was friendly, the offerings for classes suited their skill level and our schedules. Fast forward many years when I signed up for semi-private training. Matt and his staff are helpful and motivating without being intimidating. They work with you to identify your fitness goals and then follow through with monitoring. An added bonus to the semi-private training is that you have access to the other classes as well and not just the Annex. There seems to be plenty of equipment at the Annex and I haven’t seen lines for anything in particular. The room for cycling class is cramped, but I’m not sure that they have any other option. The facilities are clean, though the buildings are older and beginning to show some wear. There aren’t a lot of whistles and bells, but you do get sound programming; friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff and a great community asset at a reasonable price.
