Powered by GoogleOur family reunion was here in August 2022 and I am SO glad! They worked with me all through the planning and were flexible to help us all the way. The food is fabulous! 15/10!! The staff is warm, friendly, helpful and you cannot beat the setting! Plus they’ll take your bunch rock climbing, on the ropes course, etc if you want. The facilities are really great!
This place is beautiful, rustic, and relaxing, and the staff is friendly and makes the stay seem like a dream. The Ranch offers: - A number of cabins, all with electricity and hot running water. - Several open rooms that can be used for conferences. - Delicious food! - A volleyball court, outdoor exercise equipment, harnessed rock climbing, and an open field area. - Rewarding hiking trails. Cons: - No cell service, except if you hike up one of the trails. - There's a lot of rain showers. - The road to the camp is pretty steep and is not paved.
It is a beautiful historic site offering plenty of outdoor activities. Almost all the meals are made from scratch. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and get closer to God.
We took our son up to this camp for an Igovern camp. The layout of the cabins was convenient to the dining commons. The buildings were log cabin style, spacious, and clean. The atmosphere was a first world version of a fun camper's experience. The views going up and up there are breathtaking. Be prepared to go slow on the way back down and take frequent rests or you will burn up your brakes. Have the batteries in your camera charged up. It's a great opportunity to take lots of pictures.
Spent two days at Bear Trap Ranch unplugging. The facilities were awesome! Keith and his staff where very welcoming and knowledgeable in local hikes, trails and local fishing holes! I highly recommend visiting them for yourself or as a group! Many trails are a walk away and will ground you back to earth.
