Alison is amazing! When I communicated how my baby girl couldn’t fit her new dance shoes, Alison immediately accommodated by pulling out dance shoes, found a pair for my daughter and fixed the strings. I also really appreciate Alison’s empathy, compassion and willingness to work with families who want to keep their children in the classes. My 3yo daughter absolutely loves the creative movement classes and I can’t wait for my 8yo daughter to start her ballet classes with you all in a couple of weeks! I purchased my daughter’s first 5 classes through Groupon and when she had to miss a few classes due to outside factors, Alison immediately offered for my daughter to still use our Groupon voucher for other classes to make up for the ones she missed. Simply amazing! 🥹❤️🩰💕

A wonderful studio!!! I took classes here for fourteen years until I moved away for college. I feel extremely lucky to have had Ms. Alison as a teacher. The instructors are talented, dedicated, and committed to making the studio a welcoming environment for learners with any level of training or previous dance experience.

I've studied dance (ballet, modern, jazz, ballroom) for over 50 years. As a senior-age adult dancer, I am *very* particular about dance instructors. I look for teachers who understand that while most students will not become professional, there is great merit to the artistic, physical, intellectual, and social aspects of dance training for all students, no matter their age. I have been in class and/or rehearsal with six of the Ballet Academy's teachers. All are excellent, taking the time to demonstrate exercises, perform corrections, and (most importantly) ensuring that all students experience the love of dancing while caring for their bodies. We have mixed-age classes; I'm often in class with students many decades younger than me. Everyone is supportive: older students mentor the younger, and the younger students benefit from the older students' demonstration of professionalism and work ethic. I hope Ms. Alison and staff teach forever. This studio is a jewel.

Having grown up dancing here, nothing could have prepared me better for a collegiate dance education than the Ballet Academy. Having attended a few other studios in the area, what sets Alison and the Ballet Academy apart is the love she pours into every student and every child. Every child that walks into the studio is embraced and taught the power of dance. As a professional dance educator now myself, I would be half the teacher I am had it not been for the Ballet Academy. Ballet is so much more than tendus, and the Ballet Academy is a living example of that. It is community.

The Ballet Academy is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Alison runs the BA with positivity and integrity, and to ensure that dance is accessible to all who want to partake. The students are continuously learning important skills both inside and outside of the studio, and are always well cared for during their long days at the studio. Can’t recommend the BA highly enough!
