We were part of a group that rented this space and I never knew this was here or available before that. There is a parking lot at the main office, which is right at the entrance. We used the main office as our health lodge for the nurse and admin staff. Adjacent to the main office is a covered pavilion, a large tent (not sure if that is permanent or not), a Gaga pit, and then the dining hall. We had to provide our own meals while here but there is an industrial kitchen with fridges and a walk in cooler. We had a lot of coffee drinkers and while we did see coffee supplies in the kitchen, they weren't familiar to us so we just went and got a typical coffee pot from Wal-Mart. Ticks were bad when we were there so be sure to bring bug spray and do regular tick checks. The cabins were nice and had an unusual layout giving every couple beds almost their own little nook. Bathrooms though had shower curtains instead of doors, so that gets a little awkward. The buildings aren't far apart which is nice and convenient and there is a lot to do to keep busy with outside seating areas, large grassy areas, a pond, and a gymnasium.

It's a beautiful park with all the amenities you might expect, including RV dump station. They have outdoor education programs, a pool, camping, hiking, tons of wildlife, and a lot of outdoor barbecue facilities. This is a huge park so be sure to drop into the park office and pick up a map. Enjoy!

I attended a celebration of the last day of a week long summer camp for special needs children and it was a hoot! Everyone had a great time. The staff was so loving and caring for these kids.
