I was struggling with my relationships and self love. I was scared to go at first but after the first weekend retreat I couldn't wait to get back. Since then I have been going to the retreats and summer camps every year as a camper and then as a counselor. Camp has changed my life for the better and shaped me as a person. I have become a better friend, I have long term friendships that I can count on. I know my worth and I go after what I want. I am in grad school studying clinical mental health counseling so I can help girls the way camp helped me. I recommend Camp to any young girl because no matter who you are, every girl benefits from having someone to listen to them, to connect with, and to learn from and support one another.

In the tween/teen years parents and girls can pull apart and it is such an important time for them. The lessons learned in such a loving, safe environment really gave us the tools to communicate and grow! The entire staff are amazing and it is so nice to send my daughters to a place where they can sit all their stress down and breathe, wether it’s for the weekend or the entire week, it’s so nice to see them get a break and make true friends!!!

Both summers I had positive interactions with the camp director about personal concerns. She was very responsive and understanding. The owners have curated an amazing staff that come back summer after summer. They care deeply for the campers and are very successful at helping these teens/preteens feel seen and heard. It is a beautiful experience for all of them. A true gift for my daughters.

The first time I picked my oldest up from the week long summer camp, she said, "Mom, don't make me leave." They have helped her through some tough times. Tim, Anne, Maddie, and their amazing group of counselors have created a safe space for young women to express themselves and openly discuss difficult topics. They learn skills to deal with the many things that come with being a teenager in today's world. 10/10 would recommend!
