Camp Cedarledge is a Girl Scout camp on nearly 700 wooded acres near Pevely, operated by Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and open to girls ages 7-17. It offers overnight and day-camp sessions from a few days to a few weeks, with traditional and specialty programs; it is the council's equestrian site, with 30 horses, a covered arena and shaded trails.

I loved spending two weeks each summer learning about and riding horses in the camp. Swimming and canoeing were also fantastic. The best part though, was making new friends.
