Art Garage
Private
Nonprofit visual-arts community center in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood running week-long summer art camps for ages 3-12 from early June through late August. Six camps run each week - three mornings (9 a.m.-noon) and three afternoons (1-4 p.m.) - and families can combine both for a full 9-to-4 day, with a supervised lunch hour included at no extra cost. Each camp explores an artistic theme, style or medium and is led by working local artists using choice-based learning. Half-day camps are $285 for five days.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Art Garage directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleWe love the Art Garage! The staff walk their talk of inclusivity and care for students. Their kindness and enthusiasm is awesome and they have been encouraging coaches for our kiddos. Our kids have grown in their confidence, adaptability and willingness to try new things and be ok with mistakes. The quality and variety of art made is fantastic. We still have the art work from programs hanging up in their bedroom and around the house and they are so proud. :) It has been awesome to see how one of our kids went from avoiding any sort of drawing/art because he didn't feel confident, to drawing being his #1 preferred activity! He draws every night before bed now (and whenever he can during the day)!
So happy to have found this local place! I took an adult class and it was everything I was hoping for. The instructor was very helpful and I learned a lot. The class series was great value for money, and I am glad its nearby. I will be taking more classes with them.
I had such a great experience at the Art Garage! I learned so much about handbuilding, working with clay, and glazing techniques. The class was filled with fun, creative people, and the energy in the room made it easy to learn and enjoy myself. I forgot how much I love clay—now I can’t wait to come back and take more classes! Kylle is an incredible instructor. She’s supportive and hands-on when you need guidance, but also gives you the space to figure things out on your own. Her approach made the learning process feel empowering, even when I made mistakes. It was a really fun class with the perfect mix of structure and freedom. The environment at the Art Garage is warm, welcoming, and safe. You instantly feel like part of the community, no matter your skill level.
Found this little gem close to the central Park neighborhood + couldn’t help but stopping as it screams art art art art art 🖼️! it’s a great place for kids and adults to learn more our techniques or to play with their art at their open studios which is usually on Fridays! I can’t wait to take a class here and his place just really is welcoming + affordable! Thank you for just existing!! (I’m so happy you are here)!
My son (5) loves Art Garage! He has had the opportunity to participate in several types of programs they offer from Friday workshop when he has early dismissal at school to Summer Camp and he just went to Parents Night Out last night. I am so impressed with all of the opportunities Art Garage has, always with busy families in mind. My son loved his camp the best because they were able to do several ceramic creations. He felt empowered and proud.
