Around the Corner Art Center runs half-day summer art camp at its Morganville studio, with morning sessions 9:30am-12:30pm every week and afternoon sessions 2:00-5:00pm on some weeks. Families can enroll for a single week or the whole summer. Teachers are working artists, and the full-service center also offers pottery painting, custom framing, art supplies, classes and birthday parties. A second location in Freehold adds teen camps.

love art! the best teacher ever!!
Very cool! But tic tac time must extended
My kids have gone for several birthday parties hosted at Around the Corner Art Center and they had a blast. Not to mention the artwork they created was incredible and some now hangs on the walls. The staff that work here are talented and absolutely wonderful with kids. The girls are dedicated and truly help kids do better at the parties which is an accomplishment given the number of young participants. With this experience, we chose to enroll our kids into the Summer Camp in 2018. Unfortunately, we felt that the experience in the summer camp was different. The choice of projects, enthusiasm, rigor and output was not of the same standard and we were left a bit disappointed. We really wanted this place to be a repeat summer camp experience considering our kids love art and crafts.
My granddaughters, ages 5 and 8, took classes for a week last summer at Around the Corner in Morganville, NJ. They enjoyed the classes and meeting the other students. Their "masterpieces" are beautiful and on display. I just wish the Morganville school offered as many classes as the Freehold school, and you have to make sure you are applying to the correct school.
