Phenomenal experience. My son went to Kenya/Tanzania this summer to live with a Maasai family, build out solar power for the community, and learn more about the culture. It was the perfect blend of cultural immersion (enabling the kids to really connect with families, artists and guides in each country), education and fun. He loved every minute of the trip and adored his leaders. Between my two kids, they've done 5 different trips (with different reputable companies) and ARCC was the best by a mile! It is also worth noting that the trip leaders were fun and fantastic while still being supportive and keeping the kids safe.
