Ryder and Kendal are truly exceptional people, and Mini Mavericks has been such a gift to our family. We’ve been part of the program for more than a year and a half through both preschool and summer camps, and I feel so blessed to know that the teachers here genuinely care about each individual child. They take personal joy in seeing the kids grow, gain new skills, and discover their strengths. The outdoor environment has been perfect for our curious and thoughtful child. He’s now confident in any weather thanks to the school’s approach and his experiences learning outdoors. We couldn’t imagine a better place for him to grow, learn, and thrive. I highly recommend Mini Mavericks to any family looking for a preschool or camp where children are truly challenged, supported and inspired.

We highly recommend Mini Mavericks preschool! Our son has loved it there since he started going at 3yo. Kendal and Ryder are so amazing and genuinely care about each and every student. It shows when we do drop off and every kid wants to be right next to them at all times. We had some difficult mornings at drop off and Kendal and Ryder made sure that my son felt so safe and comfortable. Over time, my son adapted well and became super eager to get there every morning. My son has made awesome memories and came home with knowledge about our environment and how to protect it and nurture it. We always felt prepared with the clothing and gear we had, and my son never complained about it being too cold/hot once. He actually really thrived in the outdoors. These first years of preschool are all about letting your child play outside (physically and emotionally) and Mini Mavericks does a great job fostering these skills. We have really enjoyed our time at Mini Mavericks!

Mini Mavericks has been such a blessing to our family! We started off with a few summer camps and decided we loved it and joined in for the school year! My son looks forward to going and is consistently asking when he gets to go again! My son has absolutely LOVED attending Mini Mavericks. He's always asking me "how many more days until I get to go back to Mini Mavericks?" Who knew catching lizards never gets old when you are 5!!!! Mini Mavericks is a huge asset to the Bend community. I can't thank Kendal and Ryder enough for how much fun my son has and how much confidence he has developed by attending such an inviting outdoor preschool. I also appreciate how much effort Kendal and Ryder put into bringing Mini Mavericks families together for special occasions and/or casual BBQs. It's been a great way to meet other parents and feel like you are part of a community.
