ANSEP (Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program) Middle School Academy is a weeklong residential STEM program held on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus for students in grades 6-8. Campers live in dorms and do hands-on activities such as building computers, dissecting squid and testing structures on earthquake simulators. Accepted students, selected through a college-style application, attend free of charge.
