Fun, Educational and Enriching Summer Camp Experience: We signed up our daughter for the summer camp not knowing what to expect, but it turned out to be the best summer camp experience we could ask for. The field trips had a wide range of variety covering STEM, physical fitness & cultural education for a well-rounded summer experience. The staff were so professional and reliable, we had the peace of mind that our kid was safe at all times. By the end of the summer camp, our kid had finished her reading and math Kumon preK books, feeling confident and ready for school. As working parents doing lots of business travel, the summer break was totally guilt-free knowing our kid was having lots of fun at NCMA. Our weekends were so relaxed & chill knowing that educational & fun field trips were already planned for our kid during the week. The reliable transport feature meant less driving for us as parents & more quality time with our kid. At the end the summer camp, we immediately signed up our kid for the year-round afterschool program knowing that this is the best fit for our family’s childcare needs: high standards, professional staff, state of the art martial arts training with experienced coaches, potential for growth mentally and physically, spacious & hygienic facilities, clear & continuous communication and feedback, mentorship opportunities at a young age, extra curricular activities, like-minded families, and excellent management that has been running it for decades. We’re so lucky that we’re part of the NCMA community: Best place in North County!

Carlsbad’s Best Summer Camp truly lives up to its name! My family has been part of this program for many years, and it has been a great experience for both of my kids. My oldest son started in elementary school and now has the chance to come back as a Leader in Training. It has been amazing to see how much he has grown through his time at the camp. My youngest is in second grade and has spent three summers here, and he loves it just as much. The counselors are wonderful with the kids. They are caring, upbeat, and always make sure everyone feels included. The campers stay active, spend plenty of time on the mat, and really enjoy the karate lessons. All of the themed weeks are fun, but Water Week is always the big favorite in our house. If you are looking for a safe, fun, and positive place for your kids during the summer, Carlsbad’s Best Summer Camp is an easy recommendation.

I had the privilege of being part of Carlsbad’s Best After School and Summer Camp from the time I was 5 years old until I aged out of the program, and now at 20, I can confidently say it was one of the most valuable experiences of my childhood. This program does so much more than provide after-school care. It builds future leaders. The coaches go above and beyond to make sure every child is given the tools and opportunities they need to succeed, both inside and outside of the program. Their dedication is unmatched, and the lessons they teach stick with you long after you leave. The skills I gained, including discipline, confidence, teamwork, leadership, and respect, have directly shaped the person I am today. I use what I learned at Carlsbad’s Best every day in school, work, and life. It’s rare to find a program that cares this deeply about each child’s success, but that’s exactly what you’ll find here. If you’re looking for a place where your child will grow, thrive, and gain the foundation to succeed in today’s world, I cannot recommend Carlsbad’s Best After School and Summer Camp enough. It truly lives up to its name.

Unfortunately, we never got the chance to see if this camp would be a good fit. Their marketing felt overly pushy and lacked transparency about programming or rates. I requested the summer camp schedule and pricing in writing four times but never received a clear response—only unsolicited phone calls, marketing emails, and no follow-up when I declined to schedule a call with ‘Coach Jennifer’ before even knowing what they offer.
