He can easily switch between Spanish and English, has learned all the basics he needs to excel in kindergarten, and genuinely loves attending the school. The care and attention the staff provides is unmatched, and the school has a great community feel to it, with opportunities to volunteer and be involved. We will miss the staff and school, but plan to return in one year with our youngest!

Director Lucia and her staff of maestras really cared for her as an individual, gave her the attention she needed, and were very responsive to our preferences (regarding nap duration and other things). She’s learned a ton there in her last two years before Kindergarten - not just Spanish but also culture and other academics. The staff is stable, welcoming, and communicates frequently and openly. We’re sad to say goodbye but we’ll always have fond memories of Amiguitos Westside.

The Director, Lucia, communicates so well with parents and really makes the environment a happy one with a focus on learning and fun. She makes herself readily available and is flexible and helpful. Our kids love this school and we can't say enough about what a treasure this place is. One of our sons is graduating this year and is fully prepared for to start school. We recommend it extremely highly and this has been the best school experience we have had in Portland.

She started off in speech therapy and a couple of months into preschool she was no longer qualified because her vocabulary had increased. They're structured like a school with routine and set playtime. They do various activities with the children, science related, multi-media art and sensory/free play. The maestras are amazing and very kind. Each child is important to them and they take time to know each of them. My daughter loves her school and is always happy to go. Highly recommend checking them out. There's summer camp for older kids as well. The director of their Westside location, Lucia, is amazing!
