Amadeus Conservatory of Music runs a summer musical-theater and arts camp in which children act, choreograph, write songs, and create sets, culminating in a full-length musical production. The camp is open to ages 6-16 and is held at the conservatory's Chappaqua studio at 201 King Street in Westchester County. The school also teaches private music and voice lessons year-round and operates a second location in Bedford. Session length and daily hours are not stated.

Powered by GoogleMy daughter has been receiving private vocal lessons for two years now at Amadeus with her voice instructor, Paul. She has attended the musical theater summer camp twice and she will be attending again this summer, because it's her favorite! My daughter loves learning from her instructors and has made great friends with other children attendees. She has improved so much in her confidence and skills. Since attending Amadeus she has been given the leading role in multiple plays. We are so happy with our experiences at Amadeus and highly recommend the program!
Our experience with Amadeus has been amazing, all my kids loved their piano teacher and look forward to classes and recitals! Highly recommend!!
Amadeus is truly, one of the best music schools in the county. Between my three children, we have been taking music lessons at Amadeus for the past 15 years. The teachers are highly qualified and extremely talented. Our piano teacher, Andrey Komanetsky is absolutely incredible, his coaching is of a very high standard, and his dedication is truly amazing.
My children have taken principally violin, but also piano and voice lessons at Amadeus over the last 13 years, starting with Suzuki violin method at age 4 and progressing to playing full solo pieces. All of their teachers have been excellent, and we have had a great experience at the school.
Deborah and the teachers at Amadeus have realized my daughter’s dreams of making music. After getting to know her at their summer music camp, Amadeus helped my daughter learn trumpet, starting at age 6, unusually young to begin. They also taught her violin for a year, and she became comfortable with performing and making the costumes and sets for the camp play. The school has top notch professional musician teachers, yet still feels inviting and cozy. The lesson planning is totally individualized and carefully done.
