Powered by GoogleI am very grateful with the camp because they kept my nephews and niece from Mexico and Spain together with my daughters. They encouraged them to keep on going even when they were tired because the views were just “super pretty” as my nephew describes it. Plus they were able to know what to do when walking and enjoying nature. My daughter is now asking for a magnifying glass so she can teach me what happens with the sun and the plants! Love it! P.S. My 6yo wants to know when could she apply to become a counselor.
My 9-year-old daughter had a blast. She loved all the hikes, activities, and the food. The staff were great. I appreciate the photo check ins each day. She's looking forward to joining Alta Camp in the future. Thanks for a great time!
My son has attended many camps in and around Salt Lake City. His disposition for calm and quiet adventure led me to this wonderful camp. This is the first camp that he has not had any anxiety at all! The counselors are upbeat and positive. They communicate with pictures throughout the day, and i get to see a slice of happiness my son experiences while I am at work. The check in and check out is organized and secure. He is fed breakfast and lunch that he loves (extended day). Thank you Alta Summer Camp for being amazing!
Alta Summer Camp was an amazing experience for our kids (ages 5 and 7). The staff were amazing, so warm, friendly and fun. The activities allowed for enough choice that both kids found their happy place (one loved the hiking and the other the art). The location is beautiful and the fact that we didn’t have to worry about packing lunch or snacks made our lives so much easier. I highly, highly recommend this camp! It’s probably the best summer camp experience our family had ever had and it’s so clear how much love and attention the staff put into making the experience wonderful for the kids. I only wish we lived in the area and could keep sending the kids back.
Magnificent camp at Alta’s Children center run by Miss Ilse and her excellent team! Our son has been so lucky to be up at Alta the past 2 summers learning Mnt ecology, the trails, the geology of the Wasatch and making mud balls! His sister gets to join up this year and take in all the fresh air and wildflowers and positivity and nurturing the program has to offer! Mahalo nui loa, DQ
