Private
Abilene Youth Sports Authority (AYSA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2004 and built on Christian principles, operating the 55,000-square-foot Dodge Jones Youth Sports Center and the outdoor Recreation Outdoor Complex (The ROC) at 1042 Loop 322 in Abilene. It runs year-round basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football and pickleball for local kids, and its Adaptive Sports program offers basketball, volleyball, track, soccer and football free of charge to any Abilene ISD student with special needs. Its programming is organized league play rather than a summer camp session.

Powered by GoogleWe played in the first ever AYSA soccer tournament this past weekend. New facilities and fields are great. Except for the turf, it's awful. Multi use field, so there are painted lines going everywhere and the turf is filled with wood chips instead of rubber. Was really unpleasant to play on. Grass fields are nice! Also the tournament director was very inexperienced, but hopefully it gets better from here.
It's ok there are no shade at all
This was my first time here, I'm here for my daughters basketball tournament. This place is amazing! Plenty of room and seats.
Having to pay 10 dollars per person to watch my child play basketball that I paid money for her to play in the tournament already is frustrating. Nice place. Good refs. Very clean. Friendly staff. Too high a price especially in this economy.
This is a very nice establishment! We really enjoyed the games, staff, atmosphere, and the snack assortment that are available at the concession stand. Cant wait to go back!
